Unfortunately, there might still be some more work to do if it isn't selling. Here are some things you can work on to improve your chances of selling your home.

Take Better Pictures

Since a lot of people now look for their future house online, you need to have some stellar pictures. When you post your house on the same website as hundreds of other houses in the same city, you have a lot of competition. The best thing you can do is take professional-level pictures. Put away your cell phone and get out a nice camera. Get multiple shots of all the main areas of the home, such as the front and back yard, inside the garage, basement and other bonus areas, and inside all of the rooms.

Once you have those pictures, get up-close pictures of different features and details that you believe would be a selling point. This might be your granite countertops, ornate bathroom mirrors, or the clawfoot tub in the master bath. Photograph things that buyers ar often looking for and that not all houses will have, such as a fireplace in the bedroom, hot tub in the backyard, or the vegetable garden you have already started.

Make Structural Improvements

Even if you made some improvements to your home to make it look nice, that might not be enough. Take a look around and see if there are some structural improvements you can make. For example, can you finish the basement or attic so it creates a bonus room for the future homebuyers? This can be a huge selling point for a large family that already planned on turning one of those spaces into a room. By doing it for them, you save them the hassle, and they are more willing to take a second look at your house.

If your roofing tiles are in okay condition, but are not eco-friendly, consider upgrading them to entice people who want to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible. If one of your stairs creaks slightly when you walk on it, have it repaired before you start showing the house again.

Staging a home is a complicated process and involves more than just putting out fresh flowers and organizing the rooms in your home. A professional staging company not only helps your home look its best, but it can cater the design and layout according to who they believe would be most interested in the home. They consider the architectural design, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, extra space, and neighborhood when deciding how best to stage a home.

In addition to these steps, also make sure you have an excellent real estate agent. A good real estate agent knows exactly how to market your home to make sure it sell fast.
